E-Business Solution Limited (EBS) held a launching ceremony of its new company name at its Cyberport Office today.

The Office of the Government of Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region has held a Seminar on “RFID and its Related Applications” on June 26th, 2009 at their headquarters located at Cyberport 1. ETIC was honored to be one of the Industry Speakers invited to give a presentation on the topic. Over 80 executives and officers from different governmental departments and authorities attended the seminar.

Our President, Mr. Edward C. Wong was being invited as a keynote speaker in the event. His speech was on “Location Based Service Technology and Applications” of which illustrated the value of getting or receiving the right information in the right time and the right place (context-sensitive) and how ETIC integrated the technology into our Mobile Solutions and Workforce Support System.

Beginning September 2008, the Main Library of The University of Hong Kong has installed Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to facilitate self check in / out of library materials, marking a new epoch of services in a local university library.
