Mr. Johnson Yim, CEO of EBSL recently spoke to Sing Tao Daily’s supplement, IT Square about IoT technology and commercial application.
Being an innovator and total solution consultant and service provider specialises in Internet of Things technology, EBSL has been supporting hospitals, hospitals, libraries and the Hong Kong Airport with state-of-the-art IoT solutions. The application of sensor accessories made it possible to detect temperature, humidity, water leakage, motion, pressure and AC current real time. Advanced technology facilitates easy management of assets and workforce, improves environmental safety, streamlines operations, optimises workflows, increases efficiency, enhances communication and customer service.
Mr. Yim also shared with readers the development of EBSL during the interview. Branched out from an e-commerce research project of the University of Hong Kong, EBSL has successfully evolved into an IT service company specialising in IoT and RFID technologies, winning many IT awards over the past decade. Apart from the current applications in industries such as retail, logistics, transportation and facilities management, Mr. Yim is confident that more IoT applications will be adopted in more industries to improve operation efficiency.
